ENTRY

• To enter the competition, entrants must like and comment on the competition post and must be following both @PearsonCycles and @GloriousGravel and, where applicable, the relevant independent retailer, for example @Forge1860, @FlammeRouge, @ACTiVCycles, @StrypeStreet on Instagram.

• The opening and closing dates for the competition will be stated in the corresponding Instagram post. Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered. 

• The competition must be entered in each entrant’s own name using an Instagram account registered in their own name; it may not be entered on behalf of anyone else.

• This competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. 

• Pearson Bicycle Company Ltd does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or non-receipted entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.

ELIGIBILITY

• Entrants must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the United Kingdom.

• Entries must be submitted from a public Instagram account to allow for verification. Private accounts may not be visible and could result in disqualification. 

• Entrants must have access to the internet and a valid Instagram account to enter. No postal or email entries will be accepted.

• Entry is limited to one per person. No bulk, software-generated, automatic or third-party entries will be accepted. False entries will be disqualified.

• The competition is not open to employees or contractors of Pearson Bicycle Company Ltd, their immediate families, or any persons connected with Glorious Gravel.

THE WINNER

• One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entrants within 48 hours of the closing date.

• The Prize Winner will be notified initially via direct message on Instagram and will be required to private message the Pearson Cycles team back using the same account used to enter, to confirm acceptance of the prize.

• If Pearson Bicycle Company Ltd receives no response from the winner within 72 hours of initial contact, it reserves the right to withdraw their place and offer the prize to another entrant.

• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The winner’s Instagram handle may be announced on the @PearsonCycles and @GloriousGravel and relevant independent retailers’ Instagram pages. 

THE PRIZE

• There will be one prize winner, who will receive two free tickets to the Glorious Gravel event. 

• Upon acceptance of the prize, the winner will choose their preferred route distance. Selection must be made at the time of prize confirmation.

• Tickets will be issued via email to the winner.

• The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. 

DATA PROTECTION 

• By entering this competition, entrants agree that any personal information provided in connection with the competition (such as name, email address and Instagram handle) will be used by Pearson Cycles solely for the purposes of administering the competition and delivering the prize. All personal data will be processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 

• The Pearson Bicycle Company will not share personal data with any third parties except where necessary for the fulfilment of the prize or where required by law. Entrants have the right to access, amend or delete any personal data held by the Pearson Cycles by contacting care@pearsoncycles.com.

OTHER

• By participating, the winner releases the Promoter and its respective parent, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agencies of any of the above organisations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize.

• Winners’ details will be used solely for communication around the supply and fulfilment of the prize.

• Pearson Cycle Company Limited may terminate, amend or withdraw this prize draw and/or these terms and conditions at any time.

• Entry to the prize draw is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. By entering the competition, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.

• This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
