Making bikes since1860

Pearson has been building bicycles since 1860. That is 166 years of making bikes, and we still design our own frames and still build every bike to order in our workshop in south west London, then hand it to the rider ourselves.

We are a small team, so the people who join us take on real responsibility early, work across more than one discipline and watch the results of their work leave the building on two wheels. If that sounds like your kind of place, everything we have open is listed below.

Sales and Operations Specialist
London · Full time, on site · From £30,000 plus annual bonus

London · Full time, on site, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm · Starting salary £30,000 plus annual performance bonus

We are looking for a motivated, customer focused team member to join us across sales, customer service and operations. Half the role is delivering a market leading customer experience: answering enquiries, guiding riders through their buying journey and providing aftersales support. The other half keeps the operation moving: booking stock in and out, running dispatch and hand delivering finished bikes. You will also represent Pearson at selected events, meeting riders and sharing your passion for cycling.

Key responsibilities: sales and customer experience

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and efficient support.
  • Take ownership of all sales enquiries, guiding customers from initial interest through to purchase.
  • Manage and nurture the sales funnel, from incoming leads and follow ups to coordinating test rides and finalising orders, always delivering a seamless Pearson experience.
  • Carry out sales administration, keeping all orders and customer records accurate and up to date.
  • Handle aftersales issues, including warranty claims, with efficiency and care.
  • Represent Pearson at events, exhibitions and demo days, and keep up to date with Pearson products and cycling trends.

Key responsibilities: operations and logistics

  • Run goods in: book incoming stock into our inventory system and check deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Run goods out: pick, pack and dispatch parts, accessories and framesets, booking couriers and keeping customers updated with tracking.
  • Keep the warehouse organised: tidy racking, periodic stock takes and an efficient goods in and out area.
  • Deliver finished bikes through our premium delivery service: set up, checked and handed over personally.
  • Coordinate with our production and workshop teams to ensure accurate and timely builds.

About you

  • Passion for cycling, ideally with knowledge of performance carbon road and gravel bikes.
  • Proactive, self motivated and adaptable, with a positive, solution focused approach.
  • A hands on, problem solving attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a customer first mindset and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Organised, detail oriented and comfortable handling multiple tasks at once.
  • A full UK driving licence is a real advantage: bike deliveries and demo days are part of the role.
  • Previous customer service, sales support or stock and logistics experience is welcome; cycling industry experience a bonus.

What we offer

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus Christmas shutdown
  • Company pension scheme and private medical healthcare
  • Discounted gym membership and Wednesday morning fitness (start 12pm)
  • Pearson bike for all staff and quarterly company rides
  • Starting salary £30,000, plus an annual performance bonus
