A perfect bank holiday ride: this route to Brighton via Ditchling Beacon includes climbs in both the North and South Downs, offering a varied ride with rolling, lumpy, and fast sections. Reward your great effort with fish and chips — we recommend the Regency Cafe on the front in Regency Square for the best in town.
Then, it’s up to you whether to take the train home or follow our route back with a few different roads thrown in to show you even more spectacular scenery.
