How to order
Ordering a bike through Cyclescheme on our website is a straightforward process. First, browse our selection and choose the bike you want. Next, visit the Cyclescheme website and apply for a voucher, which will require approval from your employer. Once approved, you will receive a certificate from Cyclescheme. Send this certificate to us via email so we can redeem it. After we have redeemed the certificate, you can use it at checkout to purchase your bike.
Cyclescheme is a way to pay for your new bike through a monthly salary sacrifice. The payments are taken directly from your gross salary, whilst also meaning you don’t pay tax, national insurance or interest fees.
Purchasing through Cyclescheme allows you to save between 25% and 39%, offering a tax efficient way to buy your next bike. Once you’ve checked your employer is signed up to Cyclescheme, you can go ahead and ask us for a quote or place an order if you’ve already got a certifcate.
Most employers choose not to limit the order value with Cyclescheme. This means you can browse the entire range of bikes, including ebikes, and pair with complimentary accessories. Please check with your employer for any order value limit before applying for your certificate.
You cannot add your own funds to the transaction, this is determined by the guidance from the Department for Transport who have clarified that the entire order value must be included on your certificate and adding funds is not possible.
The best method to determine if a bicycle suits your needs is by actually riding it! We offer a 30-day return policy from the delivery date for any exchanges or refunds on our bicycles, parts, and accessories. We recommend that you return bikes directly to us for the simplest process.
However, if visiting us is not feasible, we can arrange a pickup from your location. If there is any damage to the bike this will be deducted from the refund amount. You can submit your return request by filling out this form. This makes the return process easier for you and means we can speed up the entire return.
In the event of a return, the bike should be clean and returned in its original packaging and box.
Once you have applied for your Certificate, the process typically takes between 3-14 days, depending on how quickly your employer processes your application. If you have an application in place, you can check the status via your Cyclescheme login here.
The standard period for a Cyclescheme Certificate is 12 months. Some employers do offer 6, 18 and 24 month schemes. You will ultimately need to check with your employer.
